BiyoGeo CS is a polymer-based scale inhibitor developed to prevent calcite and silica scaling in geothermal production wells, surface equipment, heat exchangers and reinjection lines. It was developed and commercialised for Turkish geothermal fluids in our TÜBİTAK 1507-supported R&D project.
Product description
A polymer-based scale inhibitor that blocks the growth of crystal nuclei and their adhesion to surfaces, while its dispersing action delays the build-up of particles already formed. It is designed to remain stable at high temperature, hardness and alkalinity, and does not cause corrosion.

Dosing and application
Dose and injection point are set from fluid analysis, the temperature–pressure profile and flow rate, and optimised in a field trial. Continuous dosing is recommended.
Packaging and supply
